Jerusalem Photography

Out Of Focus — JOOF —
works to encourage the search for yet unexplored
ways — personal, poetic, concerned, expressive, or critical — to photograph
Jerusalem. JOOF offers one or two-week photography workshops based on an intensive
shooting schedule and theoretical seminars.

In addition, each student receives
personal feedback from the instructor.

In the evenings, students may choose
to enjoy the mystic moonlight, vibrant local coffee-houses, slide-shows,
short films or talks about Jerusalem, local history, politics and cultures.

The instructors, renowned photographers
and experienced educators, are well familiar with the maze of Jerusalem’s
ancient alley ways and the human landscape. They will help students discover
both the secrets of photography and of Jerusalem.

Beginners and advanced photographers,
amateurs and professionals, each can find his/her niche at JOOF.
